Public Health Region Rankings on Health Outcomes and Behaviors
The four Health Outcomes and Behaviors domains are (1) Smoking, Drugs, and Alcohol, (2) Safety, (3) Physical and Mental Health, and (4) Pregnancy and Birth Outcomes. The list of indicators under each domain can be found in the Data Source List.
Lower rankings show healthier outcomes and behaviors, while higher rankings show less healthy ones. The four Public Health Regions facing the most challenges are Winnipesaukee, Carroll County, Greater Manchester, and North Country. Due to a lack of available data for many other indicators, Greater Nashua, Seacoast, and South Central could only be evaluated based on pregnancy and birth outcomes.
