    Environmental Justice Screening and Mapping Tool – US Environmental Protection Agency

    EJScreen is an EPA’s environmental justice mapping and screening tool that provides EPA with a nationally consistent dataset and approach for combining environmental and demographic socioeconomic indicators.

    Food Environment Atlas (USDA)

    The Atlas assembles statistics on three broad categories of food environment factors Food Choices, Health and Well-Being, and Community Characteristics. The Atlas currently includes more than 280 indicators of the food environment. The year and geographic level of the indicators vary to better accommodate data from a variety of sources. Some indicators are at the county level while others are at the State or regional level. The most recent county-level data are used whenever possible.

    The Gun Violence Archive

    The Gun Violence Archive is an online archive of gun violence incidents collected from over 7,500 law enforcement, media, government and commercial sources daily in an effort to provide near-real time data about the results of gun violence. GVA is an independent data collection and research group with no affiliation with any advocacy organization.

    Health Opportunity and Equity (HOPE) Initiative

    HOPE data identifies where residents of individual states and the country are doing well and where states can do more to help residents be healthier. In doing so, HOPE calculates three important factors that help state and federal leaders, advocates, and other stakeholders shape policies and practices: 1) where the gaps in opportunity are among people of different races and ethnicities; 2) what goals for achieving equity look like; and 3) how far they need to move the dial to make these goals a reality.

    New Hampshire KIDS COUNT provides data on New Hampshire children and families, and features indicators to assess children’s well-being.

    Living Wage Calculator

    The Living Wage Calculator helps individuals, communities, employers, and others estimate the local wage rate that a full-time worker requires to cover the costs of their family’s basic needs where they live.

    National Center for Education Statistics

    The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) is located within the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences (IES). NCES has a Congressional mandate to collect, collate, analyze, and report complete statistics on the condition of American education; conduct and publish reports; and review and report on education activities internationally.

    National Environmental Public Health Tracking Network

    The National Environmental Public Health Tracking Network (Tracking Network) brings together health data and environmental data from national, state, and city sources and provides supporting information to make the data easier to understand. The Tracking Network has data and information on environments and hazards, health effects, and population health.

    National Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Measures Compendium

    National Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Measures Compendium is used to identify, characterize, compare, and continuously update current measures in use across key MCH programs and initiatives. The MCH Measures Compendium currently contains 14 measurement sets which represent 71 measurement topics and over 1,000 measures. Annual updates are conducted for each program and initiative and new measurement sets are periodically added.

    National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH)

    The National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) provides up-to-date information on tobacco, alcohol, and drug use, mental health and other health-related issues in the United States.

    New Hampshire Child Well-Being Data Hub

    Interactive display of early childhood indicators Selecting any of those indicators that are up-to-date, downloadable regional and state level data.

    New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Data Portal

    Interactive website aggregating public health data and producing customized reports, maps and time trend analysis. Developed by the Division of Public Health Services (DPHS), this site aggregates many different source datasets containing hundreds of health-related indicators.

    New Hampshire Housing Data Dashboard

    Provides transparent and accessible insights into housing trends and related data across the state.

    Social Capital Atlas – Opportunity Insights at Harvard University

    This tool maps and explores social capital data by county, zip code, high school, and college. It compiles privacy-protected data on 21 billion friendships from Facebook on economic connectedness, cohesiveness, and civic engagement, and enables users to find how these different forms of social capital compare to each other, explore their connection to children’s chances of rising out of poverty and develop solutions to increase social capital.

    SparkMap Community Needs Assessment – Center for Applied Research and Engagement Systems – University of Missouri

    This interactive reporting tool provides access to social and health data and allows users to identify vulnerable populations and create custom, downloadable Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) reports and assess health indicators in their communities.
